John Pacey-Lowrie is one of the most renowned Ocularists (prosthetic eye maker) in the world: known for outstanding attention to detail and second-to-none customer service, he and his  small team of Ocularists boast a combined experience of over 100 years. 

With clinics based in Nottingham and London, every prosthesis made is individually designed, handmade, hand painted and manufactured in-house by the expert team in front of the patient: No outside sources are used in the production. This means that with JPL there is no need to wait months to receive a prosthesis… the service takes only three days.

John and his team continue to spread awareness of Ocularistry in an attempt to battle the stigma that is often associated with the loss of an eye. This has been successfully endeavoured with the help of ‘The Ocularist (Short Documentary)’, ‘The Ocularist (Series One)’ and the new series ‘Ocularist Reacts’.
